Our ST yarns are manufactured using multiple processing methods depending on customer requirements:
Direct ST Type Yarn
Manufactured through the covering process and supplied either:
- Directly wound on paper tubes
- Pineapple-style coning as per customer requirement
This process provides a smooth and elegant metallic effect suitable for various weaving and embroidery applications.
Doubled ST Type Yarn (S & Z Direction)
For premium applications, ST Type Metallic Yarn undergoes additional doubling processes using both S and Z direction yarns.
S & Z refers to the direction in which the metallic yarn is covered around the base yarn — left-hand and right-hand twist directions.
Using both S and Z yarns together provides:
- Better yarn balance
- Reduced twisting tendency in fabrics

- Reduced tangling issues

In specific qualities, S and Z yarns are doubled together with mono polyester support to achieve superior bonding and balance.
